We know from research that the health benefits of breastfeeding are substantial, lasting well beyond the period of breastfeeding. Solihull Health Visiting and Infant Feeding Service are accredited by UNICEF Baby Friendly as a Gold Service, ensuring excellence and sustained practice in the support of infant feeding and parent-infant relationships. We can provide information and support around feeding your baby, before and after birth, however you feed your baby. We are an NHS service, commissioned by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, working within Solihull Health Visiting Service – South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
Our Health Visiting team supports families during pregnancy and through the early years, offering advice on health, development and family wellbeing.
Our School Nursing team supports school-aged children, young people and families with health, wellbeing and development.
